New Variegated Colour PF3 Range - Bodysurfing Fins, Bodyboarding Fins and Ocean Photographers Swim Fins

Our passionate and experienced POD Ware team are thrilled to introduce our top-of-the-line surfing swim fins.

Our PF3 swim fins stand out with their unique variegated colour, resulting from extensive research and development at the POD rubber fin factory. This level of dedication is unmatched by any other design team.

The variegated colours are one of a kind. They are irregular colour patches that feature on our fin straps and rails. Diverse ocean life has inspired POD surfing fins, allowing us to capture marine species' vibrant and unique characteristics beautifully.

Each flipper conveys its story, just like each marine life's incredible diversity. The distinct characteristics of each fin explore a narrative of individuality, that each customer is subject to their exclusive pair of POD surf fins.

Yet another worldwide first for POD Ware - a Proud Australian Owned Company

Durability and Longevity

No one wants to buy swim fins that fall apart after a few uses; this is common among cheap-grade rubber formulations.

Please don't take our word for it. Here is one hundred per cent proof: a customer has just posted on Instagram a pair of PF3 POD fins that are ten years old and as good as new, worth every cent. Now, that is sustainable manufacturing.

PF3 Design Evolution

This distinctive swimming fin has all the high-quality design features of our PF2s. Still, it stands out because of its asymmetrical design, which delivers a more precise balance to users than existing asymmetrical fins in the market.

Experienced bodysurfers, bodyboarders and surf photographers seek these performance fins.

Our "Point of Difference" (POD) philosophy makes the difference aesthetically and functionally in this leading-edge surfing swim fin!

Swim Fin Comparison

  • If you are curious about the difference in blade length between the PF2s and PF3s, we have provided an image comparing the above; click here.
  • Another good comparison is the blade length difference between the PF3s and Churchill Makapuu Swim Fins, which can be viewed in the product gallery or by clicking here.
  • Suppose you are interested in the PF3 length or blade width in different sizes. In that case, we have provided a graphic comparing these sizes above, or click here.

Swim Fins versus Shoe Size Comparisons

One common mistake is comparing your shoe size directly to swim fin sizes. Let us explain why it's not a good idea:

  1. Different Sizing Standards: Just like shoes, many brands of rubber swim fins will vary in size. A size 10 in one fin brand may be a size 9 in another.
  2. Lack of Adjustability: Unlike shoes, rubber swim fins do not have shoelaces to help you achieve a snug fit. Instead, they rely on the rubber to stretch to fit your feet snugly and prevent slipping off during use.

To ensure the best fit, always check our specific size chart link above for the fins you're interested in and consider trying them on.

Tips and Advice

*Note: If your feet match the width shown on the foot sizes chart, although slightly longer, space remains. Due to the foot cavity, a versatile length foot pocket provides a comfortable fit.

However, all POD Flippers are not suited to fit foot lengths 1 cm above measurements shown in the size chart, which will alter the predetermined foot size based on the body weight to blade length ratio.

The wrong fitting will compromise the swim fin's structural wall section by overloading or over stretching the rubber, voiding the warranty replacement.

If you have any doubts, please get in touch with us or visit your local stockist to ensure you purchase the appropriate size.

At POD Ware, we understand that comfortable swim fins are your most important priority, followed by performance and price.

As we often say at POD Ware, "If you have comfort and performance swim fins, they're worth the price you pay."

We highly recommend a common sense approach, that is, walking or running backwards will not compromise the swim fin structure.

POD swim fins are for swimming, not forward walking or running (swimming fins are not shoes).

POD Fins are not engineered for fittings below the stated and engraved in each size (less than one size); this will alter the intended foot size to blade length ratio. Larger feet will compromise the swim fin's structural strength due to overstretching or overloading, voiding the warranty. Rubber fins are for swimming and are not intended for forward walking or running (they are not shoes). Bending the blade beyond 35° in any direction from excess load will tear or crack the sole or blade, void the warranty. Walking or running backwards will prevent the above from occurring.
