New Variegated Colour Range PF1 POD Swim Fins - Bodysurfing - Bodyboarding - Knee boarding - Swimming

The streamlined, high-tech design of our POD Fins 1 – PF1s makes them ideal for entry-level bodysurfing fins and bodyboarding fins.

They are also excellent for knee-boarding, ocean swimming and are brilliant for learning how to swim.

Produced in our Malaysian rubber fin factory, we are the first to develop the variegated colour (irregular colour patches) strap and rails.

The variegated colours of our ocean fins have been inspired by a diverse variety of sea life, allowing us to beautifully capture the vibrant and unique characteristics of marine species. Drawing from this inspiration each flipper unveils its own story, similar to the great diversity of ocean life. The distinct characteristics of each fin explore a narrative of individuality, that each customer is subject to their own exclusive pair of POD surf fins. Yet another worldwide first for POD Ware. - Proud Australian Owned Company.

The POD Fins 1 – PF1s are thoughtfully designed to meet your highest expectations and greatest needs!

PF1 Swim Fin Features

  • Manufactured from the highest quality natural buoyant rubber compounds in Malaysia
  • Variegated colour strap and rails to embody the distinct characteristics of ocean life
  • Extended foot pocket for versatile fittings and to provide exceptional comfort
  • Unique splay rails® combined with a symmetric blade provide excellent balance, thrust, speed and control whilst in the water
  • Drainage design ensures quick water and sand release from the foot pocket to prevent discomfort and improve performance

POD Fins PF1 Sizes

  • Small: 6-7 = Length 23cm and Width 8.5cm
  • Small/Medium: 7-8 = Length 24cm and Width 9cm
  • Medium: 8-9 = Length 25cm and Width 9.5cm
  • Medium/Large: 9-10 = Length 26cm and Width 10cm
  • Large: 10-11 = Length 27cm and Width 10.5cm
  • Extra Large: 11-12 = Length 27cm and Width 11cm

Shoe Size Comparisons

It is tempting to use your shoe size to choose swim fins, but here is why that’s not a brilliant idea:

  1. Brand Variability: Just as shoe sizes vary across different brands, so do swim fins.
  2. No Laces: Swim fins lack the adjustability of laces, meaning they must rely on stretching. This stretch is what ensures they fit snugly and stay put.

Please, compare the above dimensions or check out our sizing chart specific to the fin model you're interested in. Our brand provides detailed measurements to help you find the perfect fit.

*Note: Please use the foot size chart for all models of POD fins. If you have any doubts whatsoever, please visit your local stockist. "Comfort" is your number one priority. Then "Performance" and last of all "Price."

Like we say at POD Ware... If you have Comfort and Performance, it's worth the Price.

If the length of your foot is slightly longer but matches the same width in the foot sizes chart, there is still plenty of toe room because the foot pocket itself has been extended for versatile fittings and to ensure a comfortable fit.

POD Fins are not engineered for fittings below the mentioned sizes (less than one sizes), this will alter the intended foot size to blade length ratio versus body weight.

This will compromise the swim fin structural strength, due to overweight or over stretching, is not covered under warranty.

Furthermore, POD swim fins are made from quality natural rubber intended for bodysurfing, bodyboarding, knee-boarding, swimming and other related water sports activities, including ocean photographers.

They are not intended for walking or running (they are not joggers nor shoes).

A common sense approach that is highly recommend, walking and/or running backwards will not compromise the swim fin structure

Bending the blade beyond 35° in any direction from walking, running and/or excess load on the blade or sole will cause the sole or blade to tear/crack voids warranty.

    PF1 fins

Posted by MARK HARRIS on 14th Apr 2021

Really comfortable, snug at foot entry but plenty of toe room. Sand drained out of scupper(?) perfectly. Even in the washing machine shore break they never felt as though they would come off. Perfecto.

    Avis POD 1

Posted by François Ouzoulias on 27th Dec 2020

This is my second pair of POD 1s and I am fully satisfied with my bodysurfing practice. These fins are short and light so easy to carry and pleasant in the water, the liner is very comfortable and ergonomic, the blade is a good compromise between flexibility and efficiency in small to medium surf conditions.

I’ve had a pair of grey PF1 fins for 8 years and they’ve only just started to split in the rubber now. Looking forward to my new PF2 set.

    Awesome flippers for girls

Posted by Zoe on 16th Aug 2011

Being a barefoot chic with wide feet it's hard to find flippers that fit, but these are awesome. They fit really well and the soft rubber on the inside makes them easy to wear for hours. The pink and yellow colour is really cool as well. I just love these flippers!
