POD PF3 Ocean Active Swim Fins - Limited Colour Edition - Red Straps/Rails Mixed Black/Red/White.

Our best PF3 surfing swim fins, with all the quality design features of our PF2s, stand out due to their unique asymmetric ergonomic foot pocket comfort. The asymmetric blades drive more precise propulsion and flexibility than competitors ' asymmetrical fins. Their curvature leans towards the blade's centre, closely resembling a symmetric balance, reducing twist and load to the ankles.

The PF3 swim fins feature unique Splay Rails® combined with vertical rails and asymmetric blades. This design provides excellent balance and a more powerful kick with directed thrust and control. The Splay Rails® ensure water displacement, and inner channels maintain stability in the water. At the same time, the vertical rails produce more significant wave-holding attributes, allowing the user to ride waves more effectively.

Others may try to imitate, but none will even come close to the research and development that has gone into the PF3 Evolution. Manufactured with the highest quality natural rubber from Malaysia, our PF3 fins are built to last and provide the best performance in the water.

These performance fins are sought by experienced bodysurfers, bodyboarders, lifeguards and surf photographers.

Swim Fin Comparisons

Suppose you are curious about the difference in blade length between the PF2s and PF3s. In that case, we have provided an image comparing the two. Click here. Due to this extra blade length, PF3s have extraordinary wave-holding attributes.

Another good comparison is the blade length difference between the PF3s and Churchill Makapuu Swim Fins.  Click here.

  • Medium/Large: 9-10 = Length 26 cm and Width 10 cm
  • Large: 10-11 = Length 27 cm and Width 10.5 cm

  • There is a stretch allowance of up to 5mm for a tighter fit.

Tips and Advice

If your feet match the width shown on the foot sizes chart, although slightly longer, toe space remains. The versatile-length foot pocket provides a comfortable, snug fit without out-toe irritation,

However, all POD Flippers are not suited to fit more than one foot below the size chart, which will alter the predetermined foot size to blade length ratio.

Rest assured, the wrong fitting that compromises the swim fin's structural wall section by overloading or over-stretching the rubber will void the warranty replacement. We stand by the quality of our product and ensure that it performs as expected.

*Note: Please use the foot size chart. If you have any questions, please contact us.

If you have any doubts, please contact us to ensure you purchase the appropriate size.

Practical Use

Rubber fins are not intended for forward walking or running (swimming fins are not shoes).

We highly recommend a common-sense approach: walking or running backwards will not compromise the swim fin structure.

POD Fins are not engineered for fittings below the stated and engraved in each size (less than one size); this will alter the intended foot size to blade length ratio. Larger feet will compromise the swim fin's structural strength due to overstretching or overloading, voiding the warranty. Rubber fins are for swimming and are not intended for forward walking or running (they are not shoes). Bending the blade beyond 35° in any direction from excess load will tear or crack the sole or blade, void the warranty. Walking or running backwards will prevent the above from occurring.

Stellar fin! I’ve tried a huge variety of fins over the decades of bodysurfing and bodyboarding. I live in Hawaii and pods are quite hard if not impossible to find here. But fortunately the shipping was affordable and quick from pods! In the water they have plenty of power, good hold, they change directions easier than my classic vipers I had been using, and are comfortable. The sizing is larger than US they fit big, I ordered the correct size because I knew that from previous pods I had purchased. Awesome fin, 10/10 recommend.
