Original Handcrafted POD Handboard Plus PF3 Swim Fins Bodysurfing Bundle
Introducing our original classic Cedar POD handboard and top-end PF3 asymmetric swim fins, each boasting unique features that set them apart.
Australian Cedar Handplanes
These signature-shaped limited edition solid timber bodysurfing handplanes have natural variations of the wood's grain colouring, shape and weight, making each handboard one-of-a-kind.
Since the late 1980s, our founder and designer, Shane Vassallo, a renowned figure in the bodysurfing community, has been hand-making each handboard out of select-grade Australian cedar. He takes great care to individually number each handboard with its unique board weight and year made, ensuring the highest quality and craftsmanship in each handboard.
The handboard comes to you in a black drawstring neoprene bag after being hand coated a minimum of 8 times with satin marine grade coating and lightly sanded between each coat.
For the dedicated bodysurfer looking for a brag-worthy, unique product with outstanding performance, we highly recommend the POD Handcrafted Solid Wooden Handboard.
- All POD handboard decks are Convex, which = Comfort in the palm of your hand.
- The bottom surface is Concave, which = Optimum Lift, Speed, and Control in the surf.
The concave bottom and keel fin are explicitly engineered for rapid lift versus force, assisting in body surfing and wave-holding skills without your board sliding downwards or water spraying in your face.
