FLO POD Handboard deck and palm support perfectly fit the palm of your hand, placing it in your natural swimming position. The 37.5 cm x 21.8 cm planning surface area provides extra lift.

Purpose of Cedar/Walnut Construction
These three handplane sizes, a unique blend of the walnut centrepiece and cedar for the sides showcase our artisan's craftsmanship. The walnut centre, akin to a surfboard stringer, provides strength, while the lighter-weight cedar forms the wings of the hand plane, a testament to our unique craftsmanship.
The natural wood grain variations, Cedar and Walnut contrasting colours, and timber density make each handboard one-of-a-kind.
Ergonomic Hand Support
A world first, Shane has incorporated an ergonomic palm hold above the handboard deck surface, enhancing hand position and comfort.
The palm support not only alleviates stress on the arm muscles, a common issue on flat deck surfaces but also secures your hand, preventing it from slipping under the snug, double-padded neoprene strap. This level of comfort and support will give you the confidence to ride wave after wave.
New 50mm Handboard Strap Retainers
Purposely custom-built 50mm 2-inch retainer insert plugs combined with a 3 mm stainless steel rod accommodate the 50mm webbing strap and wrist cord, unlike other bodysurfing handplanes that use a smaller 25 mm 1-inch surfboard plug.
No Discomfort Over The Hand
The assembled POD 65mm wide double-padded hand strap provides snug comfort over the hand, compared to other bodysurfing handplanes thinner straps, causing skin and hand irritation.

*Note: We highly recommend adjusting the hand strap snugly once over your hand. With further use, slide your hand between the strap and the deck palm support. This advice will ensure the Velcro remains attached and lasts for many years
