These hand planes come in three sizes, precision machining, laser engravings, hand-finished and hand-assembled crafted by combining walnut for the centre and cedar for the sides.

The walnut centre acts like a surfboard stringer,  providing strength, while the lighter-weight cedar forms the wings of the hand plane.

Ergonomic Hand Support

For the first time, Shane has incorporated an ergonomic palm hold above the handboard deck surface, enhancing hand position and comfort.

The palm support relieves the arm muscles from stress, typically from flat deck surfaces, and most of all, holds your hand in place, preventing your hand from slipping out from under the double-padded neoprene strap.

The New 50mm Handboard Strap Retainers

Purposely custom-built 50mm 2-inch retainer insert plugs combined with a 3 mm stainless steel rod accommodate the 50mm webbing strap and wrist cord, unlike other bodysurfing handplanes use of a smaller 25 mm 1-inch surfboard plug.

No Discomfort Over The Hand

The assembled POD 65mm wide double-padded hand strap provides snug comfort over the hand, compared to other bodysurfing handplanes thinner straps, causing skin and hand irritation.
